The problem is, most OB providers do not see pregnancy through the lens of a normal, most often healthy, process in a person’s life, but rather see it through a medical management perspective. This makes the birthing person feel like their pregnancy is being treated as a problem rather than a normal physiologic process that is worthy of respectful care and support.

For years, Kari has worked with people like you to achieve a safe and empowering pregnancy and birth experience. Appointments are 30 or 60 mins to give adequate time to review all your questions and concerns.

We will review all recommended testing, ultrasounds, medication, etc. taking time to examine risks, benefits, and alternatives to give you the ability to have truly informed consent or refusal.

You are the leader and center of your healthcare. We will provide the necessary evidence, education, and discussion, then support whatever decisions you make.
